ANSWERS
1. D -Diarrhea/ frequent defecation is a symptom in hyperthyroidism while constipation is the symptom in hypothyroidism. Other symptoms in hypothyroidism include: Fatigue, weakness, lethargy, slight weight gain, slow mentation, inability to concentrate, dull expression, muscle weakness, arthralgia and depression.


2. B- Mild normocyctic anemia os the most common feature in hypothyroidism


3. C- In Hashimoto's disease the goiter is rubbery, non-tender and even nodular. The goiter is very tender and enlarged in sub-acute thyroiditis although not always symmetrical.
